About us

Gary and Vic have a history steeped in carpets. Both started their careers walking the floors in CarpetRight as spritely teenagers. As their understanding of carpets and flooring improved they were both quickly promoted to managers of two separate London stores. They found that they had a passion for all things flooring and rapidly grew the sales revenue using their knowledge of the industry, building up a team of expert fitters. The infrastructure they built up and their dedication to providing impeccable customer service led them to start their own business, Carpets 4 Less and subsequently setting up Dan’s Carpets, a local store dedicated to putting the customer first.

20 years on, Gary and Vic wouldn’t be in the position they are now in without the support of their regular customers; able to own the shop they have always wanted to and expanding it to be a true family business with both Gary’s wife and son joining the Dan’s Carpets team.

Very fast and efficient service. Spoke to Dinny of Dan's Carpets in the first instance at their shop. He came over the following day to do the measurement. Had the quote the same evening by e mail. I accepted the quote and the fitters, Adam and Josh, came in 2 days later, at the arranged time and completed the fitting within about 4 hours,
